Kaeskoppenstad Alkmaar

Every year the city of Alkmaar organizes the ‘Kaeskoppenstad’ event. During this weekend the city is converted to a mid-evil town, with actors playing people from that era. The gravedigger, blacksmith, baker, governor, leprous and even the women practising the oldest business around are present. Here some images I took.
